A full colour change wrap typically takes 3 to 5 working days depending on the complexity of the vehicle, number of panels, and any badges or trim that need removing. Partial wraps and accents can often be completed in 1 to 2 days. We will give you an accurate timeframe when you book in.
No. A professionally applied vinyl wrap actually protects your original paintwork from UV damage, minor scratches, and stone chips. When removed correctly by a professional, the paint underneath is preserved in the condition it was in before wrapping. This makes wrapping an excellent option for leased vehicles.
A high-quality vinyl wrap using premium materials like Hexis or 3M typically lasts 5 to 7 years with proper care. Lifespan depends on exposure to weather, washing habits, and whether the vehicle is garaged. We recommend hand washing and avoiding automated car washes with abrasive brushes.
Absolutely. Wrapping is one of the best ways to personalise a leased vehicle because it is fully reversible. When your lease ends, we can remove the wrap and return the car to its original colour with no damage to the factory paint. Many of our customers wrap leased vehicles for exactly this reason.
We offer a huge range of finishes including gloss, matte, satin, metallic, chrome, carbon fibre, brushed metal, colour shift, and more. We use Hexis and 3M materials which between them offer hundreds of colour and finish combinations. We are happy to show you samples in person.
The front windscreen must allow at least 75% of light through, and the front side windows must allow at least 70%. There are no restrictions on rear side windows or the rear windscreen, so these can be as dark as you like. We only fit legal-compliant tints on front windows and will advise you on the best options.
Most vehicles can be fully tinted in 2 to 4 hours depending on the number of windows and the complexity of the glass shapes. You are welcome to wait or drop the car off and collect it later the same day.
We use premium ceramic and carbon window films that reject heat, block 99% of harmful UV rays, and reduce glare without interfering with electronic signals or visibility. These are far superior to cheap dyed films which fade and turn purple over time.
High-quality ceramic tint maintains excellent visibility in all conditions, including at night. We will recommend the right shade for your needs, balancing privacy and heat rejection with clear outward visibility. Front windows always remain within legal limits for safe driving.
Paint Protection Film is a clear, self-healing urethane film designed to protect paintwork from stone chips, scratches, and road debris. A vinyl wrap changes the colour or finish of your vehicle. PPF is about invisible protection, wrapping is about appearance. Both protect the paint beneath, but they serve different purposes. Many customers opt for both.
Self-healing PPF contains a special topcoat that repairs light scratches and swirl marks when exposed to heat. Warm water, direct sunlight, or even the heat from your hand can activate the healing process. This means the film maintains a flawless appearance over time without needing polish or compound.
Premium PPF from XPEL and Suntek comes with manufacturer warranties of up to 10 years. In real-world conditions the film can last even longer with proper maintenance. It will not yellow, crack, or peel when professionally installed and cared for.
That depends on how you use the vehicle. Front-end packages covering the bonnet, bumper, wings, and mirrors protect the areas most exposed to stone chips and are the most popular choice. Full body coverage is ideal for high-value or performance vehicles where you want complete protection. We offer both options and can advise on what suits your needs.
Our professional-grade ceramic coatings using Gtechniq products provide 5 or more years of protection. The coating creates a permanent chemical bond with the paintwork that cannot be washed off. Consumer-grade products from high street retailers do not come close to the durability or performance of professional coatings.
Ceramic coating adds a hard protective layer that provides significant resistance to light scratches, swirl marks, and chemical etching from bird droppings or tree sap. It will not prevent damage from a shopping trolley or a deep key scratch, but it greatly reduces the everyday wear and tear that dulls paintwork over time.
Yes, we strongly recommend it. Ceramic coating locks in whatever is on the surface, so any swirl marks, scratches, or oxidation should be corrected first. We include paint correction as a standard part of our ceramic coating packages to ensure a flawless result.
For most vehicle owners, absolutely. It dramatically reduces the time and effort needed to keep your car clean, protects the paintwork from environmental damage, and maintains the vehicle's resale value. Over 5 years the cost works out at pennies per day for premium protection.
A valet is a surface-level clean. Detailing is a thorough, multi-stage process that includes decontamination, clay bar treatment, machine polishing to remove swirl marks and scratches, and protection application. The goal of detailing is to restore and protect the paintwork, not just make it look clean temporarily.
For most vehicles, a full detail once or twice a year is sufficient to maintain the paintwork in excellent condition. If your car has ceramic coating, annual maintenance details help keep the coating performing at its best. Daily drivers exposed to harsh conditions may benefit from more frequent visits.
Yes. Our multi-stage machine polishing process removes swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and oxidation. We use paint depth gauges to ensure safe correction without thinning the clear coat. The results reveal the true depth and clarity of your paint that washing alone cannot achieve.
We offer dent removal, scratch repair, bumper repair, alloy wheel refurbishment, paint touch-ups, and general cosmetic repairs. Whether it is a car park ding, a kerbed alloy, or a scuffed bumper, we can restore it to a high standard without the cost of a full body shop respray.
